Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Scene 20 Summary

  • Back in the main chamber, Mola Ram breaks a water tank to flood the tunnels.
  • On the tracks, the brake breaks (good spelling lesson there, guys) and Indy has to stop the cart with his feet, just like Fred Flintstone had to apply the brakes billions of years ago.
  • Once the cart safely stops, Indy wants water for his hot dogs (i.e. his burned feet).
  • Be careful what you wish for. Here comes the rushing water released by Mola Ram.
  • Indy and crew must run from the tunnel as geysers of water shoot from it.
  • Indy, Willie, and Shorty hang on for dear life as water blasts from the side of cliff. It's like an episode of Wipeout, but deadly.
  • Willie and Shorty escape, but must cross the longest rope bridge in the history of rope bridges.
  • Shorty jumps up and down on the bridge to convince Willie it's safe. Can you guess what happens?
  • Yep, he falls through.
  • But Willie retrieves him and they continue crossing.
