Whoa, I Really Went Off There, Didn't I?
- Dr. King ends his letter by explaining why the letter was so long. He says he's usually more concise, but then again, he doesn't usually write letters from jail. Not much to do in jail, you know.
- He gives his apologies to the clergymen in case they found him too impatient or exaggerating, and then apologizes to God in case he did the opposite. He's trying to thread the needle, you know?
- Dr. King asks to meet up with the clergymen sometime. They're all Christians, after all.
- He ends on a poetic note, hoping everything works out soon, and that America won't be troubled by racial conflict anymore.
- xoxo (kinda), Dr. King
