Case File: Castor and Polydeuces vs. Theseus and Pirithious

Case File: Castor and Polydeuces vs. Theseus and Pirithious

Police Reports

Case Description: Complainants (Castor and Polydeuces) accuse defendants (Theseus and Pirithious) of kidnapping their little sister Helen. Theseus, King of Athens, snuck into Sparta with his friend, Pirithious, and stole the seven-year-old Helen for a bride.

Case Status: Case closed. Castor and Polydeuces took the law into their own hands by launching an invasion of Athens and rescuing Helen, while Theseus and Pirithious were trapped in the Underworld. The brothers also kidnapped Theseus' mother, Aethra, but Theseus was trapped in the Underworld so long that he never got around to prosecuting.
