- As Harry gets off the train at Hogwarts, he runs into Draco Malfoy. Malfoy has some jerky things to say because, well, he's Draco Malfoy.
- Harry, Ron, and Hermione head over to the carriages that will pull them up to Hogwarts castle. Harry catches a quick glimpse of Cho Chang, his crush from last year. She's looking dreamy.
- Then, Harry turns around and sees huge black horses pulling the carriages. Except he's the only one who can see them. No one else notices them.
- There's a blonde girl named Luna Lovegood inside the carriage who assures Harry that she can see the black horses, too.
- She's a little weird, so this isn't exactly a comforting thought. Maybe Harry is losing his marbles a bit.
