- Mr. Weasley and Harry take the London Underground to Harry's hearing at the Ministry of Magic and it's quite an adventure since Mr. Weasley clearly isn't familiar with Muggle technology.
- They come in through the visitor's entrance, which is a phone booth that sinks down into the ground, and Harry gets his first look at the grand Ministry of Magic.
- In an elevator, Kingsley Shacklebolt informs Mr. Weasley that the time of the hearing has been moved up, so he rushes Harry down to the Department of Mysteries.
- There, they see Cornelius Fudge talking to Lucius Malfoy outside the hearing room. Not a good sign.
- Mr. Weasley can't go in with Harry, so he's on his own. Fingers crossed…
