Mrs. Gump

From day one, Mrs. Gump is on Forrest's side. She does whatever it takes to give him a normal life, from sleeping with the public school principal to taking in boarders to stocking him full of short phrases that help him make sense of complicated life situations. As a mentor (and a mom), she's pretty much perfect.
