Mealy Potatoes is one of the boys working at Mr. Murdstone's factory alongside David. Once, he gets kind of uppity because all of the other boys treat David with deference, as a gentleman's son. But Mick Walker beats him up for it. Mealy Potatoes gets his nickname from his pale complexion.
