- Antonio recovers from pneumonia, which he seems to have contracted during his day in the snowstorm.
- Eugene and León come back from their gallivanting, having wrecked their car and set it on fire to survive a night in the snow.
- Andrew visits Antonio's room as he recovers, but Antonio doesn't want to talk to him. Antonio can't help but hold Andrew responsible for the death of Narciso.

- Soon after returning, Gene and León leave again. This time, Andrew goes with them.
