Solidarity 9-6347 is one of the Street Sweepers who works with Equality 7-2521. Equality 7-2521 describes him as a "bright youth, without fear in the day" (2.46). But at night, Solidarity screams out, "Help us! Help us!" in his sleep, and can't be cured by the doctors. Solidarity 9-6347 gives us the most direct evidence we get that there are lots of other people in the City who want to be liberated. Equality 7-2521 promises to liberate him at the end of the story.
