Sand volleyball is currently only offered as a women's sport. Seeing as it helps schools meet Title IX requirements, it's hard to say if and when men's teams will be established.

There are opportunities for men to compete at the professional level; the Association of Volleyball Professionals, or the AVP, features men as well as women. Also, the good ol' Olympics feature beach volleyball for both men and women. However, men hoping to play collegiate volleyball must play indoors. Sorry, men. No tans for you.
