Supply Chain Management - SCM

See: Supply Management.
A company's supply chain includes all the stuff it needs in order to do its business.
You make rubber rain booties for dogs to wear when they go for walks on wet days. You have to make sure you have the rubber you need to make the boots, the dyes required to produce the different colors, the fuel for the machines, plus adequate electricity and water services. Everything that goes into production falls under the "supply chain" category.
Supply chain management involves the process of making sure these items are available when they're needed. It also reviews processes and acquisition policies in order to find inefficiencies.
