Job Satisfaction

85%

General quality of life statement

Holy moley. This is one of the best majors in terms of job satisfaction. Nursing grads report liking their jobs after college an impressive 85% of the time. That's way more than above average.

You've probably heard that nurses don't make very much. At least compared to doctors. Well, that's partly true, but it's not the whole story. Nursing majors might make less than some of their friends at work, but they make more than the average college grad.

That has to count for something. Not only are nurses pretty comfortable financially, they love what they do. They get to go to bed every night knowing they are making a real difference in people's lives. Sometimes, even saving them.

We can't compete with that.
