Odds of Getting In
The odds of getting into the profession are pretty good. However, fewer people are getting married today than in the past. Marriages have declined twenty percent since the 1960s. The cost of weddings, high number of people living together, and cultural change in the United States means fewer weddings, which translates to less business for wedding planners. Fortunately, corporations are now people, so perhaps some of them will start getting married soon.
