There's nothing to keep you from being a property manager until the end of time…unless, of course, you do something illegal, unethical, or stupid, such as:

• Embezzling money from the company or individual employing you
• Failing to complete background checks on potential renters
• Failing to keep your property up to code
• Displaying poor customer service skills toward your tenants and/or potential renters
• Ignoring the pet policy because you can't bear the thought of some little old lady not getting to keep all her cats.
