Glory
The only glory you can hope to find in this job is if you make some vital discovery or contribution that gives the lawyers in your firm the edge in a major court case that they ultimately win because of it.
Honestly, it's not that far-fetched. You may be doing more of the digging and researching than they are, so it's quite possible that you'll uncover that one key piece that will turn the tide of the case at hand. And, boy, are you going to be rewarded for it: One of the lawyers may offer you an extra donut. Or the head of the firm might give you a shout-out at the next company meeting.
They say that the little moments are what make the job worthwhile. You'd better hope so.
