The odds of you finding a job out of cosmetology school are excellent. Many schools will even place you in your first job, but even if they don't, you can always find a salon that needs a good manicurist. From there, you'll just need to develop a following and work your way up to a more posh place.
The odds of you fixing up Beyoncé's nails or Lady Gaga's talons however? Not so good. You have to have a pretty singular talent, not to mention a shrewd business sense, connections, and luck to get those kinds of gigs.
