Odds of Getting In
Show a little initiative and passion, get yourself certified, and you should be able to break into the industrial truck/tractor operation game without too much of a struggle. A high school diploma is a big plus, as is a license, but equally important is the ability to interview well.
If you can make yourself seem like a capable guy or gal with some experience and good social skills, someone is bound to hire you. It's not exactly the presidency—there are a lot more positions available in this field than folks who dream of doing it for a living.
