Well now, this is why you want to be an illustrator, isn't it? You know you're lighting up the faces of children everywhere, or you're bringing an amused smile to the faces of adults, or you're in some way sharing your gift of visual artistry with the rest of the world.

Or maybe you're doing it because you think the sassy single worm you've been drawing since the second grade deserves the same level of recognition as Superman or Garfield.

Whatever the reason is, remember that you're an artist; the fact that you make a living from the comfort of your own brain should be glorious enough.
