All in all, the EPA doesn't seem like a bad place to work. There are options for a bunch of different types of scientists, there's lots of room to grow and develop as a scientist, and the benefits of working for the governments aren't too shabby either. The best part is that, at the end of the day, you can rest assured that you're making the planet a happier and healthier place.
If hostile politicians don't end up de-funding and destroying the EPA, chances are you can hang on and look forward to a great retirement.
