Stress

Any career has its stressful moments, and being an energy auditor is no different. Deadlines, working outside in extreme temperatures, and analyzing muddled data are just a few of the things about this job that could cause your stress level to rise.

Inspecting a building means climbing up ladders, going into creepy basements, and checking out crawl spaces that you're a thousand percent sure have spiders in them. It's enough to give anyone a full-blown case of the heebie-jeebies. You could try attaching a video camera to one of those robot vacuum cleaners and sending it in to have a look around. It's worth a shot, right?

However, that's about the worst this job will throw at you. Your stress level as an energy auditor shouldn't cause you too many problems. Remember, you're helping people save money, live more comfortable lives, and make the environment cleaner. That's worth a couple encounters of the arachnid kind, right?

Keep your fingers crossed for the camera/robot vacuum combo, though. It could solve a lot of your work-related problems.
