This is a stressful job. You have to deal with giving bad news to people on a daily basis. That has to be a downer.

Your salary could get cut when your county's budget gets hacked up.

Also, if you screw up, you could put innocent people in prison or give away a dead person's remains to the wrong family (apparently it's been done, numerous times).

And you have to be locked in a room with dead bodies all day every day. That can't be too good for the average psyche.

At least you'll be able to afford some nice artwork for your home to help you decompose—er, decompress. (Source)
