Fame

Well, if you’re like the Captain Sully Sullenberg and heroically land a disabled plane in the Hudson River and manage to save everyone aboard the aircraft, you’ll be googled—a lot—and could potentially inspire a famous song from the movie Drive (he’s the “real human being/and a real hero”.)

Frankly, pilot fame only comes from being unlucky enough to have to maneuver your way out of really dangerous situations and being just lucky enough to survive. Otherwise, your just a name people hear over the intercom and forget about when the in-flight entertainment begins.
