Physical Danger
You're dealing with chemicals, so...yeah, there's some physical danger.
In a lab, you risk being exposed to chemical poisoning from fumes or burns, fire burns, explosions, or carcinogen exposure. But as long as you take the proper precautions, stay focused, don't take any ill-advised risks, and wear your gloves and goggles, nothing awful is likely to happen to you. And, once in a while, take a safety shower with someone you love.
