The odds of getting in are decent, but not stellar. Music management has been around for a long time, and it's not going anywhere so long as there are musicians to manage. But finding a job isn't a matter of scrolling through Craigslist for a couple hours.
Gluing yourself to a well-established band that you actually click with is a matter of chance, good networking, and persistence. Don't forget to have those business cards at the ready.
