Physical Danger
For an administrative assistant, the biggest risk of physical injury comes in the form of a sore lower back or carpal tunnel syndrome. But these are very real risks, so make sure you have a good mouse and that your desk is the right height.
There's a small chance that you will be the front line of defense as the face of the organization when a disgruntled customer comes knocking (see Stress). In this case, we recommend that you take full advantage of another extraordinarily important member of the support staff: the security guard.
