Fame

See Power. Fame is rarely a factor for CPAs. But it can be a lovely tool to raise rates. If You Da Man (or Da Wom) quoted in The Wall Street Journal, then maybe clients will seek you out ahead of all others. Or pay you another fifty bucks an hour for your brain.

Most accountants are pretty secure people who are stable and basically happy. They don't need or want fame, per sethat is, they don't need other people to "know" that they're successful and happy. So they just are.
