criticism is to not hold back if you see something that needs revising when

you're looking over your friends work be sure to take notes on anything that's [a boy meticulously studying another students work on a PC screen]

criticism is to make the work better so even if it's tough your friend needs to

hear the things that are wrong a whole bunch of encouraging thumbs up might

feel good to receive but they're not all that helpful however it's a good idea to

give a couple of thumbs up just to make sure to point out some of the good

things that are happening by mixing your criticism with some praise your critique [highlighted good points of another students work]

is much more likely to be heard and accepted that said if your friend didn't

actually do any work and just gives you a rock with a bunch of scratches on it

it'll be hard to find too many good point maybe suggest not too heavy it's [a boy with his arms folded looking upset]

also very important to offer a suggestion for improvement with each

there's going to be a solution out there and if you help to find that solution

it's hard enough having your work criticized by others and it's even

harder if the person isn't nice about it put yourself in their shoes and think

about how you'd feel of you were getting a similar critique oh but don't actually [a boy crying reading a critique of his work]

put yourself in their shoes you might need to critique the work of people with

smaller feet than you and you're not helping anyone if you break their shoes
