Sherman the slacker has been waiting for his ride to school for a [Sherman waiting patiently for a ride to school]

while now he's pretty sure school has already started by now but he doesn't

really care like we said he's a slacker he just wishes he could go back inside

and play video games but his mom is in there and you know she'll yell at him [Sherman playing video games while his mother holds a sweeping brush]

so he decides he might as well walk to school he walks slower than a slug

in a food coma which for those who have never died with a slug is very slow but [a slug moving very slowly on the ground]

he does make it to school by lunchtime awesome Sherman's favorite class is lunch

as he's biting into his piece of pizza Sherman sees Andre the guy who was

supposed to give him a ride Sherman asked Andre where he was this morning [Andre walking up to Sherman in the cafeteria]

not that Sherman really minded missing class he was just actually curious Andre

reminds Sherman that he's supposed to pay for half of the gas costs but he never

gives him a cent so he told Sherman that he couldn't pick him up anymore if he [Andre asking Sherman for money for the gas]

didn't ship in Sherman tells Andre to chill out and just write down on a

napkin how much he owes Andre says that he drives five miles out of his way to

pick up Sherman and that gas costs 1.935 dollars per gallon and that his car [math calculations scribbled on a napkin]

gets 30 miles to the gallon Sherman tells Andre to get to the point he

really wants to get another slice of pizza Andre divides 30 by 5 to get the [Sherman looking sad at waiting to get a slice of pizza]

idea that every six days Sherman is costing in the gallon of gas that means

every six days Sherman owes Andre 1.935 dollars Andre points out that

he takes Sherman to school six days a week because Sherman is always in

detention on Saturday and Andre has band practice there's been eight weeks of

school so far and eight times 1.935 dollars comes to eleven dollars and 16 cents

which is how much Sherman owes ok cool says Sherman I've got 12 bucks you can [Sherman waving 12 dollars to Andre]

have whats yours as long as I have enough so I can buy another slice and a side of

nacho cheese Andre gives up and tells Sherman to just walk from now on Sherman [Andre stands up and walks away from the dining table]

shrugs and thinks it's his lucky day he's pretty sure that now he can afford

at least two more slices with two sides of nacho cheese he's not worried about

the calories there's going to be a lot of walking in the weeks ahead [Slug slithering along the road slowly]
