Young Frankenstein Scene 19 Summary

  • Fade back in as Dr. Frankenstein carries his bride into the bedroom.
  • His bride is Inga, not Elizabeth. Wha??
  • She goes into the adjacent room to slip into something a little more comfortable.
  • In the room, she starts humming the violin tune, and Frankenstein grabs his head.
  • Meanwhile, the monster is reading the Wall Street Journal as Elizabeth comes out of the bathroom, kicks off her shoes, and gets into bed.
  • Back at the castle, Dr. Frankenstein, with his arms extended and moaning like a monster, crawls into bed with Inga.
  • She asks him what happened during the transference. The monster got part of his brain, but what did he get from him?
  • He moans and leans in, the camera cuts to the fireplace, and Inga starts singing just like Elizabeth did with the monster. Must be the schwanstucker.
  • The end.
