Enter Mr. Bear 

  • Sure enough, just as the rabbit is building himself up to such heights, the competition sneaks up from below him.
  • Not. So. Fast.
  • Mr. Bear has arrived.
  • But unlike in "Yertle," where good old Mack advocates for the rights of the many from his place below, the big bear only wants to take the (metaphorical) throne for himself. He tells the rabbit that his boasts are "ridiculous"… solely because he is the best of the beasts.
  • With a sneering "And so there!" round three of King of the Mountain begins.
