Strictly kid's stuff here. For Tom, courtship consists of jumping around, showing off, and beating up other, lesser boys. He and Becky Thatcher "get married" and "kiss," but it's all in the playground romance territory. And Tom does mention that part of being a pirate is "orgies" – but he can't even tell Huck what the word means. Only adult readers get the joke.
