The Spanish Tragedy Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG-13

In terms of steamy romance, we don't get much. There's a bit of smooching in a private garden, but that love scene is more poetic than physical. There are some naughty puns in the text, but you'd have to be a textual scholar well versed in Elizabethan bawdy jokes to even begin spotting them. In short, the play is too occupied with revenge and violence to get into the steamier side of love.
