The Republic Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG-13

While the Republic isn't the steamiest of Plato's dialogues (take our word for it: they can get pretty steamy), there are some pretty frank discussions about desire, sex, and the logistics of procreation in the imaginary city. Our gang of discussants never gets too detailed, and these discussions definitely aren't a major part of the work as a whole, but as we said, they can be quite direct.
