• Gaea emerges from Chaos at the beginning of the world.
• She gives the gods lots of trouble, sending Titans and giants against them.
• Gaea is asleep for a long time, but starts to wake.
• Partially awake, she kills Leo's mother, Esperanza, when Leo is eight.
• She captures Hera and plots to unleash the giants and wake up herself.
• She is foiled, because that is what happens to villains. But villains always come back, and so will she.
