The Martian Chronicles Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

PG

The steamiest moment in The Martian Chronicles is when Ylla dreams of meeting an Earth Man and . . . singing with him ("Ylla," 118).

Sure, some of these stories include relationships between adults, and we do have to wonder about their … relationships. Will Walter Gripp and Genevieve Selsor marry in "The Silent Towns"? Will Mom and Dad stop having kids on Mars in "The Million-Year Picnic"?

But most focus more on family relationships or friendships. For instance, "The Martian" focuses on parents and (lost) children, and the most important relationship in "Usher II" is probably between two friends who like to murder people, Stendahl and Pikes. So let's be glad this book isn't steamy.
