Ok, we understand your concern. How can Grayson be a mentor when he doesn't even seem to have his own stuff together? Well, that's why. He's been where Maniac is, in a way most of us can't identify with. He ran away from home at age fifteen and spent the next 25 years wandering. Maniac would be wise to learn from Grayson's example and recognize what he's got (the Beales) while he still has it.
