Character Analysis
Sarah doesn't really get a lot of airtime in the story; she mostly remains in the background of all the play's conflicts and arguments. Shaw's stage directions introduce her as "slender, bored, and mundane"—not exactly the kind of description that sets your imagination on fire, amirite? Still, she's harmless enough—and after all, she did give us the chance to meet Charles, who inspires some of Lady Brit's best lines.
