Character Analysis
Sari girl, whose real name we never learn, is one of the girls released from the detention center, along with Little Bee, Yevette, and the "girl with no name." We never learn sari girl's story because she drops out of the novel when Little Bee sets off alone for Andrew and Sarah's house, not long after getting out of the detention center. We do know she has thick scar tissue across her neck, as if someone (maybe even herself) very nearly succeeded in slitting her throat.
