Mufasa (James Earl Jones)’s Timeline and Summary

Mufasa presents his heir to the animal kingdom. The animal kingdom is happy to meet him.
Mufasa chastises his brother, Scar, for not attending Simba's presentation ceremony.
When Simba wanders into the elephant graveyard as a young cub, Mufasa must rush over to save him.
Mufasa tries to teach Simba about responsibility and following the rules. Simba looks up to him and loves him.
Scar informs Mufasa that Simba is trapped in a wildebeest stampede. Mufasa saves Simba and then begs Scar to pull him out of the gorge.
Instead of saving Mufasa, Scar throws his brother to his death.
Mufasa's ghost appears to young-adult Simba, urging him to go reclaim the Pride Lands from Scar.
