Exactly how steamy is this story?

Things get pretty explicit in Just Listen, but not in a sexy way or anything. The book deals with sex insofar as Annabel and Emily both have to grapple with the fact that Will Cash rapes them. Even though the scene where Annabel is raped isn't too detailed, it's still clear what happened, and the book certainly doesn't shy away from discussions about sex. We see Annabel try to fight Will off, and see how other students and Sophie gossip about her afterward.
There aren't actual descriptions of body parts or anything like that, but it's still a book that centers around a character's rape. Steamy is not the word for it—but Just Listen is definitely intended for older teenage audiences.
