Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum)’s Timeline and Summary

Ian Malcolm arrives at Jurassic Park via helicopter.
He's against the whole idea of the park from the start, finding it against nature.
In the jeep, he flirts with Ellie Sattler and explains Chaos Theory. It's something to do with drops of water.
When the T. rex escapes, Malcolm distracts the dinosaur with a flare but is injured in the process.
He is found by Sattler and Muldoon, who drive him back to the visitor's center with the T. rex in hot pursuit.
Patched up, he lays around the control room being sexy and briefly helping read a map and lead Ellie to the power source to restore power to the park.
That's about it. He lives, and he is on the helicopter leaving the park at the end of the movie.
