A master prophet who is punished by Zeus for telling too much of the future to other humans. Poor Phineus is plagued by some bird women called Harpies, who come down everyday, steal most of his food, and poop on the rest. Luckily for Phineus, the Boreads chase away the Harpies for good. Out of gratitude, the starving king tells the Argonauts how to pass through the Stympleglades, or the Clashing Rocks.
