Exactly how steamy is this story?

In the Woods deals with graphic themes, including rape, but none of that happens on the page. Even the book's one sex scene, between Rob and Cassie, is handled in a fade-to-black kind of way as the two fall into each other's arms. "I turned Cassie in my arms and kissed her, and after a moment she kissed me back" (16.152). Then—bam—in Chapter 17 they wake up naked… but in an L-shaped sheets sort of way, effectively preserving the modesty of all involved.
