Europe Needs to Sort Itself Out, and America Will Wait
- Clearly Europe still has issues, as all that recent business in Spain shows.
- Side note: that "recent business" probably refers to the fact that France was authorized by a bunch of other countries to invade Spain and stop the civil war there, by taking over until Ferdinand VII was returned to the throne. (Source)
- Because of all the wars, the U.S. policy has always been to stay friendly with whatever the current government of any given European country might be at any given time.
