Okay, so, this is not exactly a sexy topic or book, so you don't need to prepare for any actual steaminess per se.
However, the subject matter is definitely heavy sledding in certain places. Hersey provides a lot of gruesome details of the bomb's aftermath and the illnesses and physical injuries that people sustained, which are not for the faint of heart. It's not too stomach-churning, but since knowledge is power, we wanted to let you know: this book is graphic, just not in a fun NSFW sexytimes way.
