• Joan joins the French aristocracy, saying the Virgin Mary has raised her up to lead the French to victory and that she has special powers, which seems plausible given everything she does in the scene. The French agree to give it a try.
• Joan helps the French take Orleans and Charles gives her credit for their victory.
• The English take Orleans back by a stealth attack. The French at first blame Joan, but she comes up with a plan.
• Joan helps take Rouen by stealth. And then the English manage to take it back that same day. Oops.
• Joan tells the French not to despair, and convinces Burgundy to rejoin their side.
• The French kill Talbot, making everyone more hopeful about Joan's goal of freeing France from the English.
• Things seem to be going well for France, but the English army attacks and drives the French forces back. Joan calls on demons to help her, and they turn up, but they won't do anything. York captures Joan.
