Character Analysis
Glendower is the leader of the Welsh rebels. He brags about having magical powers and is associated with the "wildness" of Wales, which Elizabethans viewed as a mysterious place. Glendower is the father-in-law of the English Mortimer. He never fights at the battle at Shrewsbury because he's unable to amass his troops in time for action.
