The Diary of Anne Frank (play) Steaminess Rating

Exactly how steamy is this story?

G

Being scared out of your mind while hiding in an attic apartment doesn't really give much room for romance. Still, hormones don't stop simply because there's a war going on. Anne and Peter share two (count 'em: two) pecks on the cheek in the play and that's about as interesting as things get between them. Mrs. Van Daan gives us the gross out when she tries flirting with Mr. Frank a few times (asking him to take a look at her legs… ew) but thankfully, Mr. Frank "won't play" as Anne calls it. If you're looking for romance, this play's not the thing.
