Character Analysis
Cilla was lead singer in the rock band the Evil Fingers, which the media and the police come to believe is a group of lesbian Satan worshipers. She's one of Salander's first friends, along with the other members of the band. Cilla is currently a law student. As Cilla points out to Hans Faste who tries to interview her, Salander was never in the band because, for one thing, she's totally "tone-deaf" (23.173).
