- At the foundry, Mallow demonstrates a bunch of high-tech tools for cutting, shaping, and attaching steel. The foundry workers are awe-inspired at the super awesome tech. Next year's welding rodeo is going to be something else.
- While doing the demonstration, Mallow notices a blaster being worn by the Commdor's guards. Each has the emblem of the Spaceship-and-Sun, the emblem of the Galactic Empire.
